Hi have you still got your old mountain brackets I need a set can find them anywhere I will buy them if you still have them

So my bracket screws don’t thread into anything they just pop in or out.

Great video, thanks! It took me 10min. Dealer asked $60 for this job.

It provides limited protection form debris, gravel, etc. getting kicked up and hitting the bike. Mainly looks. :)

That was a great help , thanks Greg. My street triple R extras did not all arrive at the dealer in time to be put on the bike so they sent them direct ....I was fine with the seat cowl but it would have taken hours to work those brackets out !

Great to be able to see how to do this - would be even better with a list of tools needed. Stand-in (junior?) camera operator might need a little more tuition :P

Greg, Thank you. I'll be installing my pan in the dealer's parking lot and need to know what tools to bring. Are the screw heads Torx, Allen or Phillips? You have an excellent camera operator - Bravo !!

That was tried by MANY people. The long range torps just tear you apart. Besides, these Hubs haven't been in the game for a VERY LONG time.

Ripper cannons seriously... I'd use missles, due to their advantage in range and damage... you can avoid getting hit very easley with that amount of range with the Boosters special

Nice how-to video, thanks for posting! About to put my belly pan on my new Street Triple R (black), and while the instructions seem relatively clear, it's always better to see it on a video than on paper! Cheers!

Hi, I built them as you described but I think kix have now upped damage models so they wont even do a fleet in a 37, is this what you are finding? I have built an unarmoured fleet of sws, with hb3,ra3,eng 3. all thud 4s and posted a vid showing them killing 31 ops.As I already had the fleet of rippers I built one more thud sw and use 3 thud ships and 2 rippers to kill 31s. After an attack I simply mend the damaged and use the other fleet. I get tier 3 easily in the first day.

The HB III works better then the AL III because you take a lot more hits just by having to get that little bit closer

It really depends on what you are fighting, in terms of RA3 and DU4, but I admire the build! What is the repair time on the fleet after doing one Level 37 Outpost?

I switched it up and and threw and pirhanna depth charge 2 on there. For those instances when you get a little too close to a ship

If you look at the bottom right, its says whats on his fleet :P 4 ripper IV's and 1 ripper III :D

Upgraded shipyard lets you have 4 ripper IV's and one ripper 3

I tried al3 on BC's earlier and the problem is that you have to do a TON of turning to get all the different platforms. Cannon System is the best answer but if you don't have that I think HB is good

what level of rippers? i presume ripp 4 but according to ulitmate shipyard , all u say u have on them, won't fit, even with shipyard 2

Just building some different versions of sea wolves will give you any interesting results.

Iam just at the stage where I am getting all level 3 stuff researched. I also have evade armour and bcs. I will spend some time experimenting and let you know the results, I will try cannonsys 3 and also al3. I want to try the d35x as well on a fast seawolf as its 900 damage.

Do you think these would work as an instant repair fleet during larger raids, or does the armor make that big of a difference?

I have found that this fleet is also great for taking out other fleets. The high missile resist + speed means that you can stay alive long enough to get fairly close and get the kill. Having more range means you don't have to get quite so close. I've even killed fleets of Mercuries with them

Range is offensive and defensive. if you can get first shot on target you can avoid damage bc you start doing damage to your target sooner which means they have less time to target you.
